WHAT TO EXPECT

I am here to help all types of runners enjoy their running, train smarter and run more efficiently. Coaching is practical based with some theory as well as a question & answer. I explain the theory and the relevant science as we progress through the drills, cues and exercises.

Knowledge is power. It’s important to me as a coach that my clients understand not just how each exercise or technique works, but also why! This improved depth of understanding enables each participant to help themselves as they continue training.

DRILLS
I teach you the skills, drills, cues and techniques you will need in order to practice running pain-free with improved form, efficiency and speed.

THEORY
I will explain not only how, but also why I coach runners in the way I do. I help you make sense of the science and research behind the Pose Method approach.

ANATOMY
To improve your running, I need to teach you some simple, functional anatomy. Learning about your body will help keep you running smooth, fast and injury free!

UNDERSTAND INJURIES
I see the same running injuries again and again. I also see runners making the same training and technique errors again and again. Coincidence? When it comes to running injury prevention I’ll share some brilliant tips and practical advice with you.

MYTH BUSTING
I have frequently been asked about the foot strike debate, barefoot running and much more… I will make sense of the often conflicting advice, help you understand the practical implications, and discover the form that works for you.

AM I GOOD ENOUGH TO ATTEND?
The answer is always ‘Yes’! These Clinics are structured so that runners and triathletes of all levels will benefit equally. It’s not about how fast or fit you are, instead together we’re all learning to move better and run to our full potential. We won’t run far and the running is more interval based so there’s no need to worry about your running fitness!

  • POSE CLINICS

These are designed for groups and provide an introduction to the Pose running technique and how to implement changes to your running. Everyone will have their running videoed and analysed. You will not be doing lots of running or any long runs but short running drills, so no matter what condition you’re in you will be able to participate.

Clinics are limited to 30 places and are strictly on a first come basis. Contact me  to book your place.

Small group clinics enable groups from 3 – 6 to have private coaching giving more focus on each persons technique.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancel 14 days before the Clinic and you will be credited your fee for a future date within one year, or you will be refunded your registration fee minus a £10 processing fee. If you cancel within 14 days of the Clinic, you will not receive a refund, but the fee can be credited towards a future Clinic purchased within one year.

If you’re looking to have all the focus on you and your technique the best choice is One to One coaching which can best utilise your time and efforts.

People all learn differently and to maximize learning all the key theory, drills, cues and running experiences then One to One coaching is going to be your best choice.

The video analysis is in more depth and practical learning is more personalised to get the most out of your day.
